We teach the driving course through a series of five-hour sessions. Each session consists of five hours of study, plus two, fifteen-minute breaks. As long as you are on time for each session you choose to attend, you should finish by the time you have completed five sessions. If you are late for a session, it will be necessary to make up your work. The lectures do not need to be taken in order, but all course work must be completed in no less than 25 hours, per DMV regulations.

Appointments are necessary, to ensure that we will have enough staff to accommodate all the students in our driver's education class. We encourage students to sign up for all five sessions when they start the course, though we will take reservations up to the day before class, as long as there is space. Holidays and August sessions fill up at least a week in advance). There are limits to how many students we can accommodate in our classroom, so please call early.
We strive to create a relaxed atmosphere for our students. We ask that each student come to class prepared to learn (a notebook is beneficial, though not required). The student must complete all videos, session quizzes, lectures and pass the final before a certificate of completion will be issued. Breaks are encouraged, but not required. A student can use any break time to complete their required reading or test.
The final exam will take the student approximately two
hours to complete. The student is allowed to stay after
class to finish his or her final, if necessary, up until the office closes. Once a student finishes our course, we recommend that he or she take the permit test at the DMV as soon as possible.
