Schedule/Information
Driver's Education Schedule (Classroom): We teach the driving course through a series of five-hour sessions. Each session consists of five hours of study, plus two 15-minute breaks. As long as you are on time for each session you choose to attend, you will finish by the time you have completed five sessions. If you are late for a session, it will be necessary to make up the time. The lectures do not need to be taken in order, but all course work must be completed in no less than 25 hours, per DMV regulations.

Driver Education Class Schedule
(Each session is 5 1/2 hours long - see calendar)

Monday thru Thursday (10AM-3:30PM)

(Lectures offered by reservation only)

Saturdays (10AM-3:30PM)

(Lectures and Testing offered every Saturday)

Appointments are necessary to ensure that we will have enough staff to accommodate all the students in our Driver Education class. We encourage students to sign up for all five sessions when they start the course, though we will take reservations up to the day California Driving School before class as long as there is space. (Holiday and August sessions fill up at least a week in advance).

We strive to create a relaxed atmosphere for our students. We ask that each student come to class prepared to learn (a notebook is beneficial, though not required). The student must complete all videos, session quizzes, lectures and pass the final before a certificate of completion will be issued. Breaks are encouraged, but not required. A student can use any break time to complete their required reading or test.

The final exam will take the student approximately two
hours to complete. The student is allowed to stay after
class to finish his or her final, if necessary, up until the office closes. Once a student finishes our course, we recommend that he or she take the permit test at the DMV as soon as possible.

Driver Training Scheduling:
(behind-the-wheel)

Driver training is taught every day of the year.
We have instructors who start as early as 6AM; others teach after sunset.

Our cars are exclusively late-model Toyota Corollas.

Simply call us at 310-824-4444 to set up a lesson.
Have your permit number handy when you call.

Note: Parent, please do not call us using a cell phone while driving; we do not want to be a party to something so dangerous (plus, there always seems to be a mixup when lessons are scheduled this way. . .
brain not quite on task, if you know what we mean. . .).
